Surrendering Your Cavalier

If  keeping your Cavalier is not an option, due to family, economic, or other circumstances, please send your request to re-home your Cavalier toinfo [at] gccavalierrescue [dot] org (subject: Request%20to%20Surrender%20Cavalier%20to%20GCCR) ( info [at] gccavalierrescue [dot] org).  Please attach a photo, so that we can be assured that it is a full-blooded Cavalier. 

A volunteer will contact you within 24 hours to obtain as much information as possible about the dog.  One of our intake coordinators will then contact you and make arrangements to come to your home and evaluate your dog. Please keep in mind that a volunteer coming to your home does not guarantee that GCCR will accept your dog.

We cannot accept a mix breed, or a dog which is unadoptable due to aggressive behavior.   Lack of foster space can also limit our ability to take in a dog.
