If you’re looking for a Cavalier who’s equal parts cuddle buddy and loyal companion, Fry may be your perfect match. This calm, confident, and friendly boy has settled beautifully into his foster home and has quickly shown what a wonderful family dog he can be.

Fry is a smart, eager-to-please pup who has learned his foster routine quickly. He gets along very well with the other Cavaliers in his foster home and enjoys both companionship and playtime with them, but he would also be happy as the only dog in a home where his people are around most of the time. He especially loves going for walks, playing fetch, and bringing his toy right back to you for another round.

He’s also a well-mannered boy who knows several commands, including sit, wait, no, drop it, and even not your turn! Fry comes when called, both inside the house and out in the yard, and he has confidently mastered stairs. He’s mostly quiet, barking only when he has a reason, and he handles visitors well. 

He’s also unfazed by loud noises and storms—he even slept through a roof replacement in his foster home!

Fry is currently living with both a male and female Cavalier and has done very well with other dogs, often learning by watching them. He is doing well with potty training, though he’s not quite perfect yet. One thing Fry does feel strongly about is crates—he’s not a fan. He would much rather sleep near his people, and cuddling up beside you is truly his favorite pastime.

Because of his prey drive, Fry would not be a good fit for a home with small animals. But for the right family, he will be a calm, lovable, beautiful companion who’s ready to bring affection, fun, and lots of snuggles to everyday life.
