If you're looking for a gentle and loving soul, Wally might be the perfect match. Calm, patient, and just a chill guy to be around, Wally has a kind nature that makes him a joy to spend time with. If his big, dark brown eyes don’t melt your heart, his sweet, peaceful demeanor will win you over.

Wally gets along well with other dogs and genuinely enjoys the company of both canine and human friends.  While he doesn’t want to play, he likes to be around dogs and people.  Affection is one of his favorite things, and he is happiest when he can nuzzle up to you for gentle pets, cuddles, or simply relaxing by your side.

Wally walks beautifully on a leash.  His slow gate and desire to sniff lead to leisurely strolls.  He is working on increasing the length of his walks and is up to being able to walk a half mile.  It is important that Wally find a home where daily walks will be provided so that he can continue to work on his weight management.  Wally is house trained, so he’s ready to settle into a home with ease.  He doesn’t have a tell for letting you know he needs to go outside, instead he is used to scheduled outside times.

Wally is exceptionally calm, genuinely loving, interested in meeting new people and exploring new places.  He has high emotional resilience and wonderful obedience skills and manners.  Wally would be a great addition for any home.  He doesn’t bark or seem to be bothered by much.  He would like to spend his time sleeping next to his people or going with them on errands in the car.
